SOFT GIRL

The concept of the ‘Soft girl era’ is a current trend amongst my generation. Young women are embracing a Cottage-core feminine style while evoking a soft and bold attitude. I resonate with this trend as a woman because it promotes the acceptance of vulnerability and soft nature. The soft girl era has made it more acceptable to express your feminine style and focus more on outdating gender stereotypes. Women are stereotyped as weak and girly, but I do not think it is wrong to be vulnerable and feminine. I have surrounded myself with strong women and they make being vulnerable seem like a strength rather than a weakness. They merge compassion with logic. Society gravitates to the most flashy, materialistic, and detached lifestyle. This trend counters that notion by focusing on simplicity and vulnerability. Living in the truth that all people do not live extravagantly and should have kinder natures while living a simpler life.
